trips coming up!

hi, tristen again. i know what youre thinking..."three times in one week?! doesnt she have a life?" well yes i do. thank you for asking. im actually planning a trip right now. 11/19 {wed} afternoon im taking a shuttle from cedar to st george and then to las vegas. having fun there with my friend, faith and the family {of course}. thursday night we'll be going to see twilight {hence the amazing pic above}. and btw--its a possibility that we might go to the official premier--faiths mom has some mad connections! ahha im keeping my fingers crossed but ill let ya'll know what happens.

then im leaving friday morning to go back up to cedar and from there im hichin' a FREE ride with a girl named carolyn to provo where i will go on a date with a boy and go to the shark speed show!!! yay! im so stoked...im gonna be a picture taking fiend! haha and you all can rest assured im gonna be documenting everything and sharing it on this blog. thanks for reading. later!!

october snow in cedar city

these pictures were taken on 10/11/08 it didnt stick but it was fun to see the snow coming already. im lucky i have a "snow" setting on my camera, otherwise we would'nt have been able to see the flakes.

halloween wounds

this halloween was super fun. a co-worker of mine, rendall, worked in the theater for years so he's very proficient in face painting and theater make-up application. these are the pictures of my "gore". only one problem. the card piece wasnt staying curved and so it kept coming off my head....but i really wanted it on. so i talked rendall into putting a gob of rubber cement behind the card to get it to stick....against his better judgment. it worked, too. but it gave me a burn.
it burned for a bout an hour and a half and on my pain scale it was at about a 6.8 or a 7 out of 10. but i was determined not to give in to the pain. so i had this weird burn mark for a day or two. it peeled off on tuesday night, just like a scab or dead skin form a sun burn. weird. ive got barely a mark of a scar but its there. and i think its an interesting, if stupid, story. haha
